Mr. Ben Elafdil: “'Moroccans living abroad (MRE) have played economic intelligence”'

During the high season characterized by the return of Moroccans living abroad (MRE) to Morocco, CRI Casablanca announced two new measures on Yabiladi.com. The interest of these two measures is to accelerate the process of company creation and facilitate the investment process for this population which must reconcile between holidays and administrative procedures.

  

Casablanca: the hub of foreign investment in Morocco

Hamid Ben Elafdil, Managing Director of the Regional Centre for Investment (CRI), says Casablanca attracted nearly 10 billion dirhams in investments in 2006. These projects will create more than 40 000 permanent jobs in the region.

  

Appealing to the financial market will improve the credibility of management

Mr Hamid Elafdill granted an interview to the Moroccan francophone daily “Le Matin”. It was an opportunity for the director of the Regional Center of Investment (CRI) of Casablanca to give some clarification on the management of public and local affairs within the region of Grand Casablanca:

  Grand Casablanca is honoured on RFI (Radio France Internationale) 29/05/2008

Radio France Internationale (RFI) dedicated two programs “Afrique Plus” to the Grand Casablanca region.   An industrial park at Ouled Salah 29/05/2008

Le Matin - It will drain an investment of around 3 billion dirhams. Funded with of 13 million dirhams by the French Chamber of Commerce, the industrial park Ouled Salah will be operational in 18 months, as it was announced by the Chairman of SOGEPIB, Robert Gaign. The works of topography have already been launched.
The imminent development of this park should meet the needs facing the region of Grand Casablanca in terms of the supply of land meeting the standards and proposed in better terms.
