Extended over 53 ha located on the road linking the city to Mohammed V international airport, Casablanca Nearshore Park is a specialized zone consisting of 250.000 m² of office and commerce space.

A specialized training centre.
An important lifeblood to young graduates Baccalauréat +2 / Bac +4, the “Office de la Formation Professionnelle et de la Promotion du Travail” - OFPPT (Office of Vocational Training and Promotion of Work) mission is the establishment of dedicated training for offshoring careers with an objective of endowing targeted sectors with skilled human resources necessary for their establishment in the kingdom.
It is in this direction that the first offshoring-specialized training center was launched in 2005 with a mission of providing the sector with qualified workforce.
Three major areas of training are provided. The first is that of IT. The Centre provides the training of technicians specializing in software development, networking and management systems.
The second is that of offshoring aimed to the requalification and the updating of graduates in 3M. The third is that of skills development and training aimed, among others, to the improvement of trainers.
The goal: to train 100.000 people by 2013 of whom 80.000 will be trained in administrative services, 2.500 in IT development, plus more than 4,000 of engineering and commerce schools’ graduates.
A tax- incentive environment
There are many advantages that can benefit offshore businesses. They range from financial assistance in company set-ups to a radically streamlined taxation -including exemption from the Corporate Tax (Impôt sur les societies - IS), an actual Income Tax (Impôt sur le revenu – IR) rate capped at 20%, an expatriates’ special regime, tariffs of less than 2.5%, complete exemption on the first employment (550€/mois)….

Led by CRI Casablanca in partnership with CRI Rabat, APEBI and ANRT, the barometer of outsourcing is an effective tool for audience measurement of Morocco as a destination for IT projects. Both BPO and call centers draw up a positive assessment since 68% of respondents consider Morocco as a destination for the BPO and IT offshore.
The survey also demonstrated the competitive advantages offered by Morocco. In fact, European operators who consider settling in Morocco do it for cost savings (82%) and for human resources qualifications (42%).
The geographical proximity, language skills, social and tax advantages and telecom infrastructure are also in top of the list of assets of Morocco as a prime destination in terms of offshoring and outsourcing..

• The SICCAM (International exhibition of call centers and contact Morocco) brings together more than 2000 professionals call centers and IT worldwide representing a dozen of countries.

• ITEM Expo, is a fair dedicated to careers in offshoring, which has emerged through a partnership between MCA, the CRI Grand Casablanca, Casa Nearshore Park and WANA Enterprise.
